i spent about 8 months losing 37 kilos i went from 130 kilos to 93 and was aiming to be 80 kilos. i even got put into the newspaper for losing weight. i had been doing weight watchers and power plate vibration training.
But for some reason i fell off the wagon gaining from 1 to 3 kilos a week for an entire year until i had reached my original starting weight of 130 kgs !!!!!!!. STUPID STUPID. soooooooooooooooooooooooooo............ Im starting again but its totally different this time im terrified of the scale i have been trying to lose weight since january and people have told me that i look like ive lost about 10 kilos. i dont think thats true. so im going to stand on the scale on monday and then again in another two weeks. i have been walking power walking on my treadmill and doing winsor pilates 20 minutes 3 times a week and also doing 40 laps in the pool twice a week. i have been sticking to a pretty good diet during the day of oats with a banana and milk for breakfast and 1 egg on two pieces of dry wholemeal toast for lunch. and slow cooker meals and stirfrys for dinner. sounds perfect right????? but theres a little problem called my husband ha ha. he keeps making deserts or going out and buying what we call "binges" which tend to consist of 1 bags of lollies, 1 kingsized block of chocolate, 1 - 1.5 litre of fizz. and maybe some iceream and biscuits. We will then proceed to just munch on it between ourselves after a perfectly fulling dinner until bed where all those excess calories settle themselves god knows where!....... been good tonight so far could have something to do with the fact that my husbands on night shifts lol. ps. its nice to have somewhere to post my thoughts.

Thats rough! I am embarking on losing weight again (and again and again). I lost 27kg a few years ago, then had 2 beautiful children and put all the weight plus some extra back on. So here we go again! I hit my heaviest at the beginning of this year and I refuse to ever go that heavy again. So far I have lost 10.5kg, thanks to eating better (but not as good as I should) and winning a gym membership.
I really struggle with the after dinner snacks too! Although my husband knows junk food is banned from the house

I've been struggling with lollies, Vit deficiency, allergies, and skin problems (all related). Doesnt help the weight loss!.
On the plus side, now i know lollies with some sugars cause me to lack in vit B's which causes allergies and major skin problems! Horay! this will solve a lot in the long term.

OMG im not doing so well, not too sure how much i weigh havnt had a weigh in since last time, i just feel really out of control with my eating, im still exercising, also i found a cool website that tells you how much calories you have burnt and how much grams you have lost while you exercise- it only works for the treadmil/swimming and i think rowing. so i found out that i burn 332 calories while im on the treadmill (and my husband burns 666) grrrrrrr any way i think my problem with my over eating has been due to boredom from being stuck at home all day with no job and a 3 and 1 1/2 year old.... so all i think about all day is food and losing weight. i started my new job today and i didnt think about food for the enitre day so hopefully the distraction will do my arse some good.... ha ha im going to weigh in again in a couple of weeks when i feel like i have lost some weight....... because if i stand on the scale now i'll just get depressed and lose the weight loss plot. last time i lost weight and got down to quite a nice size i felt really vunrable and not worthy 2 be skinny like it was too good to be true...... but ive read docter phils weight loss book and heaps of other stuff and i feel like once i get down to my goal weight i'll be able to mantain it........ its just getting there thats hard i keep sabataging my weight loss...... every time i eat healthy i feel like chocolate........... sigh

damnit why did you post, now i can't ignore the forums
I was avoiding it because i hadn't been doing so well either. Not going to weigh in, but just trying to get the diet and exercise under control for now. This week has been mostly ok except for the KFC yesterday and ice cream today .... *sigh*
On the plus side at least I did some exercise and ive almost been regular at the gym!

Yea kfc the smell of it when i walk down town o the drama that goes thru my mind, and it diagonal across from the supermarket called pak n save!...o boy...and then its also across the road from Meat warehouse, and across from meat warehouse is a service station connected to BURGERKING WAAAAAAAAAA!.....i really don't know how these services get off, i meant next to pak n save is the service station etc, but also is the bank and next to the bank is a chinese take aways and a bakery O M G.........!so its junk all around before u get to the fruit and vegetable ISLE!.....WHAT is the world comming too!... O by the way i live in Gisborne!

I had hot chips on the weekend with one meal but i have to cut the junk out and try and shift the 102 kgs that i am....and since im on a twelve week challenge im doing my best to combat my bad lifestlye of binge eating when i feel like it!

I've signed up to ta da list . com where i type up what i have to do, and it enables me to check off what i have done and i've put up what i can do without sitting on a chair, and also have a calender via microsoft works, and it also has a pop up just to double check i have done what i should, and should hopefully shake me off the internet more then i am sitting on the computer!

thought i had a bad week and i did i supose... although i thought i would have gained like a kilo but it was only 100 grms. so not 2 bad back on track this week. i always seem to have a bad week after a good weigh in which i weird....sabatage my self.
i went 2 the doctor and got a green prescription 4 the gym so its half price. so that will bump my exercise up. im enjoying the pump class and the body combat class, dont know about zumba i think im too fat 2 move my body like that ha ha. the docter hinted towards making sure i record wot im eating so im going to make myself do that everyday! its much easier 2 keep withen ur calories wen ur writing every thing down.

hope everyone is having a healthy happy week. next weigh in is next monday woohoo lol

wow wicked! and agreed, keeping within cals is so much easier once you have been doing it a week or two also
But better yet, you realize you can eat some junk food or go out now and again still and still loose the weight!
Used to feel like i was having a cheeky binge having ice cream or chocolate when i knew i had the calories. Felt like i was somehow cheating the system
