This morning was "D" Day. D for "Diet", D for "Depressing", D for "Do It Now"

OK, crunch time start weight is 136.5kg

Today was a good one, yes I know only day one but I survived. I even survived a trip to the stupidmarket and nothing illegal was put into my basket

I thought as well as noting what I eat each day, from time to time I'll add a recipe as well, so if I'm lucky enough to get any followers, they may want to try the meals out

    Todays Menu:
Breakfast: Porridge and trim milk, Jarrah Latte
    Mid Morning: Green Tea
Lunch: Sushi and Jarrah Chai Latte
    Afternoon: Green Tea
Dinner: Chicken Thai Green Curry and Rice

OK, so this isn't authentic but it's quite tasty, next time I think I'll halve the chicken and add some vegetables

    Recipe Thai Chicken Curry
    (per person)
    1 sliced chicken breast
    1 tsp chicken stock
    1/4 cup water
1 tsp thai curry paste (I use green)
    1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
    1 spring onion - slice
1 tomato - cut into chunks
1/4 cup lite coconut cream (or evaporated milk with a drop or two of coconut essence)

Put first five ingredients into pan and simmer until chicken is cooked, add spring onion and tomato with cream and bring to simmer for 5 minutes

    Serve with rice

Off to make lunch for tomorrow, mmm, I feel a feta salad coming on

Day two down and another good one

    Todays Menu:
Breakfast: Porridge and trim milk, Jarrah Latte
    Mid Morning: Green Tea
Lunch: Feta Salad, made of mesclun leaves, cucumber, spring onion, tomato, red capsicum, avocado, 6 green olives (sliced), feta cheese and a little hummus and Green Tea
    Afternoon: Orange
Dinner: Crispy Bacon Salad, made pretty much the same as lunch but with 2 slices Chicken Bacon sliced up and dry fried until crispy instead of feta, followed by a Weight Watchers ice cream

I'm really trying hard to stay off the scales, I have a tendency to weigh everyday when I'm trying to lose weight which isn't good and probably why I fall at the first hurdle

Well Coronation Streets on, must go.....yes I'm a fan but hey, know me before you judge me
