After a binge again on more crap, i decided that since im doing the 100km walk for oxfam trailwalker i may as well start training. This was at 4pm. I walked out of work at 4:15 on a whim, told husband what/how to do dinner, and said i would meet him in Hamilton at about 7-7:30 .
So i left the office and walked. I walked all the way to Hamilton, its just under 20km, whilst reading ebooks, txting, twittering, etc. I even sung loudly, found a near new horse crop, and got stopped by a grumpy police officer!
By the time i got to Hamilton at 7:30 my legs were knackered. I sat down with a whopper burger and it was the best damned burger i had ever earned. Husband arrive shortly afterwards and drove me back home.
Today the legs are ok, eating some good food, and keeping those calories under control. Feeling a little tired and achy, but generally happier!

    Walking
    1,083 calories in 3 hr 40 min (19 km at 5.2 km/h)

    678kcal for Whopper
    387kcal for fries
    0cals for coke

Whilst it seems pointless, its the equivalent of missing a meal, since i only ate breakfast and lunch ... oh yeah and of course the lollies!

Wow when you set your mind on something there's no stopping you! Gosh I just realised how much harder it would be if the husband was not supportive...lucky mine is pretty cruisy tho wish he would eat the healthy options too! My latest 'treat' is a 2-egg smoked salmon omelette with spinach, red pepper and a sprinkle of parmesan. Has to be good for you and filling too!

oooo thats sounds yummy, except im not a fish person. I might try that with chicken though!

Went away for the weekend camping, slept about 1 hour total, being tired meant diet out the windows, though did a 42km bike race which negates another couple hundy calories

Okay, epic fail. I was training for Oxfam Trailwalker. I walked and walked and walked, and all I managed to do was twist my knee around xmas time. From there i struggled to walk and everytime I almost healed i re-did it.
Finally bit the bullet and pulled out of the walk. Knee is finally getting better, only now I have gained a CRAPLOAD (15kgish) of weight.
Im at 90kg. Totally not happy about it. So i'm back on the bike which seemed to work out for me, and im setting up a home gym in my garage including spin bike and cross trainer.
Diet is back on track, exercise is happening, I need to be able to fit my old clothes.

Yesterday I ate a muffin for breaky 200 cals, had 2 lunches of potato, pumpkin, leak risotto soup thing (300 cals total), and pasta and chicken for dinner (unsure of cals, but fairly healthy), then another muffen before bed. Plus coffees and teas etc. I did a 8km bike ride with my daughter to test ride the new tandem i bought.

This morning i did a 18km bike ride on the tandem with daughter, then rode 3km to work. Muffin for breakfast with coffee, Soup again (very thick vegetable based) over 2 lunches. Dinner is steak, potatos, and veg.

did 12 mins cross trainer today, stopped because it was REALLY hot and the machine made a fair bit of noise and needs an oil/WD40 or something. Diet was ok, could have done better and not had the couple cookies, but the rest was ok.
Breakfast was half a bacon and egg Bap.
Lunch was small steak, veg, and small potato
Dinner was 1 lamb chop, boiled potatos (3 small) and veg.
Supper was a couple gingernuts (50 cal each) and cup of tea at camera club.

I did the same thing about 18months ago, I had got down to about 75kilos but even though I was still going to the gym I got a bit slack with my diet and the weight crept back up to 90 kilos I was so annoyed because I could see myself landing just back where I had started. So I really made an effort and managed to get down to 70, where I have been hovering for over a year. It is, as you know just a prolonged consistent effort counting the calories and watching everything you eat, also it is a lonely road as you really have to do it all by yourself and no one else is to blame for the times you slip up. But a forum like this one can encourage and support and inspire.

Yeah that was the idea for me anyway.
So yesterday I managed to eat a bag of lollies and some fudge. only exercise was cycling to work and back. Eating otherwise was ok. Today i did 20km bike ride, pretty large breakfast & lunch & dinner. Full cooked meal for each. No snacks though so perhaps not so bad overall considering the 20 bike ride.
Tomorrow is a 6am rise, doing the paper run with daughter, then going for a loooong bike ride (40-60km?). Rest of the day is blobbing

I forgot that i ate an ice cream yesterday - erk! not cool, add that onto calories.

Anyway today more than made up for it
got up at 6am, did paper run with daughter. 7am i went cycling with other daughter on tandem and we did a 40km ride in just under a couple hours.
Got home, cooked breakfast (grilled bacon, poached eggs, home made hash browns, toast).

Cleaned the kitchen, fixed the bike.
Had a frappe for lunch (late breaky so wasn't hungry), which is a great way to get a low calorie treat. Pile a cup full of ice, pour milk to fill the gaps, 1 tea spoon cocoa, 2 of sugar, put it in a blender!

Then mowed the lawns, cleaned the garden, trimmed the bushes, swept the concrete, swept the house of cobwebs (had BILLIONS!).

Anyway from there i had a nana nap for 30 mins till hubby got home. Have a BBQ planned for dinner. Then bed! tomorrow is my day of rest

Been all over the show this week. Mega stress, one day i overeat, the next i barely ate anything. Daughter was sick so my training partner for cycling was out, had money emergency and our Fiji holiday was on the line . If we cancelled the trip for lack of funds we had to pay, if we wanted to go we had to pay, so much of my spare time was spent selling things on trademe (spare crap we needed to sell anyway) to sort it.
So no exercise all week other than ta bike race sunday. Outlook doesnt look great until at least next week.

woah another 2 weeks go by! i need to be working on this more :/
Now i have less stress, been eating better. i think i went over a bit yesterday in the eating game, but not too badly. Made a banana cake (Gluten free) and put 2 table spoons of ginger in it, wow what a great taste! I limited myself to only 1 slice which was great, plus some crumbs.
Going to fiji in less than 2 weeks, hopefully i get some stomach bug so i loose weight unintentionally (joking! ick!).
Had a Japanese student so my Sushi making skills were put to the test, that worked out brilliantly! Currently living on a tight budget so emptying cupboards rather than buying food means i dont get a lot of choice in things. Mostly beef and potato based meals since i have a 1/4 of a beast in my freezer and a 10kg bag of potatos :/

Ok, mega suck much here for me. All the stress from organizing problem finances and a trip to Fiji, combined with gratuous eating in Fiji, has made me gain more weight than i like.

Feels very odd, people expect me to be perfect because i've lost all the weight and to know everything, but i still battle with all the same crap i did before. Tomorrow is the new day of getting back on the wagon and not eating crap. I have 20-25kg to re-loose again.

Today my spin bike turned up, now i have a sort of mini gym in my garage. I have 1 month until i have a 100km bike ride (the R4) which im doing on my tandem.
Tomorrow is the start day of getting back on the wagon. The sooner the better since i can no longer fit any of my winter clothes :/

Ok the cats foiled my attempt at getting up early and on the spin bike. When the alarm went off at 6am i was so tired from them jumping up and down on me all night long i just ignored it. Still feeling really tired and crap, but i biked to work dropping the kids off on the way (3km). I ate an apple already but I'll have breaky at work when hubby arrives. Breakfast is going to be a muffin with an egg on it, possibly eggs beni (with low fat hollandaise)
