This will be fairly short and sweet!

Found Liz's website after seeing her on Sunrise about 6 weeks ago. Then found her on Twitter and the tweets start flowing.

Awesome website, so helpful and easy to understand.

What I have eaten today (not even sure about the calories for some things):

    Missed breakfast (#breakfastfail)
    Coffee
    Homemade chicken burger and wedges
    Afghan
    Coffee
    Sugar-free gum
    Chicken Risotto
    Rainbow brownie and ice-cream....twice!

    No exercise.

Thank god I can start a new day tomorrow!!

Honestly the afghan wasn't that great in the end.

Have had a V and just about to have a bowl of Just Right and a coffee. YUM. Would have preferred poached eggies on homemade bread though!

Only ended up having the 1 egg, on toast, and 2 slices of bacon (kids wanted bacon cooked for lunches, and had leftovers). Im going through a poached egg phase trying to get them like the restaurants style, but they never quiet come out the same ...

Yes, Kohu Road ice cream is a fully balanced meal (didn't you know). Yes, have been counting calories, but obviously haven't been sticking to my limit. I figured that my limit would be about 2000cal per day. Honestly Liz, when I look at what I am eating, it's no surprise that I am overweight.

Yeah, I have the same thing. You can kid yourself that you are eating normal amounts, but when you write it down its another story eh.

Yep totally. I looked at what you and the other girls had written and thought s8it I am eating too much!! Also, some foods aren't in my cool little calorie counter book either, so I get a bit stuck. How does the calorie app on your iPhone work? Sorry to have missed you in Auckland on the weekend, but I figured you were mad busy!

I use fitday.com and read packets for calories, also sometimes move to the iphone app (tehre are several) If you are unsure how many calories are in something find out online and just add it as a similar food and adjust the amount to be that.

By law everything has calories on the package under 'Energy' Some use Kjoules which is the same thing only divide it by 4.2 to get the calories.

I always find it a bit hard when out. Like I was looking for the calories in a flat white and they range from 224 to 350 (not trim). I figured it would be great if you could add all the ingredients and the answer would just pop out.

yeah i dunno about those calories. I mean to make a flat white its just a cup of milk, which is 150 cals max. The milk is frothed therefore a cappachino is only half a cup of milk so it should be only 80ish calories unless you put sugar in.
btw, Flat white, Latte, Cappachino. The only difference is the amount of air, flat white has least, cappachino the most (its 50/50, so nice and frothy)
