I'M NEW AND READY TO DO... THE HEALTHY EATING[b]

For the past two nights I have been reading the website and have found it really awesome info, soooooo if you see this Liz, thankyou it greats that you created this and your from New Zealand and I'm sooooo blown away with your results..

Today was my first day, about to go to bed, but so happy with myself that I made it through the day. I've always found the first day the hardest. Really focused and happy that I can create a diary and make it available for anyone that wants to read it. This should keep me in line, hopefully.

I have fluctuated in the last 19 years and now I'm struggling to get it off.

    My weight today: 86.6 kgs
My 1st goal: 72-75 kgs by July 2010
    2nd goal: 65-68 kgs by October 2010
    3rd goal: 60-63 kgs by January 2011

    Thanks for that Liz.

One week today and I have shredded 1.6kgs. I won't weigh myself again until the beginning of next month, I prefer to focus on my clothes not the scales.

Does anyone have any advise on how to deal with not having much support from family and friends as they come over with sweet treats and I find it hard to resist because I have such a sweet tooth. I have told them not to bring them over, but they ignore it.

    HELP ME!!!!!

Oh man, I had the same problem. Once Xmas after loosing like 40-50kg in 6-7months , i got given no less than 10 boxes of chocolates and sampler biscuits by family and friends for xmas. Even though they had SEEN what i went through to get where i was!!!

I made a point of rewrapping them and giving them to others in that case.

My mum went to switzerland and brought back about 7-8 blocks of chocolate for each person in my family. I was determined to not be left out, but not get fat. I ate one piece of chocolate every single day for about 3-4 months, still lost weight, and still got to eat it!
Now when i get a really yum food that i want to binge on, i take a decent portion, and put the rest away for the next day or something.
    Higher quality, smaller meals

Oh, also, i paid my kids money if i stuck to the diet. This way they would want the money so encourage me to eat well and not ask for junk all the time. Some people i just had to avoid and stay away from.
Husband was probably largest obstacle, but he got there in the end when i went mad

I ended up having words again, this time I think they've listened. My mate brought over a cake on Thursday last week, I told her again no more and we haven't had anything since.

My week of eating has been awesome but I haven't been feeling well so no exercise. I can't seem to shake it off, but I will get back into it when I'm well enough.

Still feeling like crap, I have the flu and I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF BEING SICK!!! With this I haven't been exercising, which shows with my loss in the last two weeks. Good note, my eating has still been awesome. I've lost 400gms, total 2kgs since I've started. Better luck for the next week even though it is easter.
