    hi,

On June 30 2009 I had a laproscopic gastric sleeve. That is where they go in and staple up the side of your stomach leaving you with a 100-120ml tube.
I had this surgery done for free through the counties manukau DHB.

When i started in January that year I was about 210KG, or more. By the time of the surgery I was 179KG. As of today, I am 122KG, which works out about 88 KG, give or take.

If anyone has any questions, I'd be glad to answer them.
If you go to http://gummer.co.nz you can see some before and after pics, and read up a bit more of what happened.

I was one of 3 people who had serious complications, from 150 who had the surgery.
